What Happens At Sunset.Sunset backlights the lawn, sending waves of soothing lavender and blue through the darkening sky. For a few moments, everything is peaceful. In those swift minutes between day and night, everything stands still; even time.
A lawn motor roars across the driveway. The middle aged man in the muscle shirt is once again hacking away at overgrown grass. He pauses in the middle of his front lawn and wipes his brow tiredly. He looks up at the fading light and heaves a heavy sigh. He looks back down at the growling machine and return to his grudging task.
Two girls bounce around a basketball beside the man. The orange ball swishes through the air

Too Many Accidents“Too many accidents,”
he shrieks,
“Too many mistakes.
Too many wrongs,
Too many faults.
Not perfect enough”
“Blame her,”
he exclaimed,
“The culprit of crime,”
Breaks a plate,
Things aren’t the same.
“Anymore,
don’t you know,”
he snarls.
